School Transport Passenger Assistant (Term-Time)

South Tyneside Council is seeking a Passenger Assistant (20 hpw, Term Time Only + 5 Days) to supervise pupils on a dedicated school transport service and ensure their safe passage from home to school, working alongside the driver.

This permanent, part-time role is based in Fleet Services with a salary of £26,016 pa pro rata. Typical hours are 7:30am–9:30am and 3:00pm–5:00pm, with a closing date of 30 November 2026.
