We're looking for a Finance Assistant to join us on a 6 month fixed-term contract to support our team with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activity, in addition to other ad hoc tasks within our connectivity billing provision. This is a great opportunity to be involved broadly across our financial operations, suitable for someone looking to gain more experience in their finance or accounting career.

Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office (EC2M 4YN)

Supported by: UK & US Group Finance Director

Duration: 6 month fixed term contract

Salary: £30k per annum pro rata

Key responsibilities

• Review projects costs and run process to recognise revenue to P&L
• Highlight and resolve queries within P&L
• Review, validate and approve Sales Orders
• Support the connectivity billing manager with bill run and resolve any queries
• Review and allocate data to client accounts
• Support the setup of new clients & contracts in billing system
• Support Cash Management team to chase Debtors
• Input bank receipts and payments into finance system and complete allocations
• Support the loading of supplier invoices into finance system
