Finance Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing business which is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager.This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on finance professional seeking a varied role with genuine responsibility and the opportunity to develop their career.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of day-to-day finance activities while supporting management reporting and commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
• Processing weekly and monthly payroll.
• Assisting with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
• Preparing VAT returns and managing CIS requirements.
• Completing bank reconciliations and supplier payments.
• Supporting year-end accounts and improving financial processes.

About You

• Previous experience in a varied finance or accounts role.
• Experience with payroll and management accounts.
• Good understanding of VAT, reconciliations and financial controls.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Confident working independently in a hands-on role.
• AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with SAP, BrightPay or within an SME environment would be beneficial.
