Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst

At Lucion, we deliver accurate, defensible asbestos surveying and analytical services that help clients manage risk and protect people, buildings and projects across the UK. We re looking for a Dual-Trained Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join our Hazardous Materials team. This is a field-based role covering the South West, with our office based in Cardiff. If you take pride in your work, trust your technical judgement and believe in getting things right, you ll fit right in. The Role You ll work across a varied range of sites, using your expertise to support safer buildings and better decision-making. You ll:

• Carry out management, refurbishment, demolition and asbestos-in-ground surveys
• Undertake air monitoring and airborne fibre counting
• Complete 4-stage clearances and inspect remediation works
• Collect site data using a phablet and our award-winning NexGen reporting system
• Work in line with relevant legislation and guidance, including HSG248 and HSG264
• Maintain QHSE documentation and follow internal assurance processes
• Build strong client relationships and provide clear, professional technical advice
  You ll ideally have:
• BOHS P402, P403 and/or P404, RSPH equivalents, or a Certificate of Competence
• Working knowledge of HSG248 and HSG264
• A full UK manual driving licence
• Experience working across different sites and environments
• The flexibility to travel and work away when required
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach
• Confidence in your technical judgement and the ability to challenge when something isn t right
