Sales Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join a successful and growing business based in York.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, motivated and customer-focused individual who enjoys building relationships, converting leads and achieving sales targets.

With all warm leads provided and no cold calling required, you will be speaking with customers who have already expressed an interest in the company's products and services.

The role is predominantly telephone-based, with opportunities to meet customers face-to-face on site.

Offering a competitive salary of up to £30,000 plus uncapped commission from day one, this is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a sales environment and enjoys delivering an excellent customer experience.

Some of the Sales Executive responsibilities will include:

• Responding to incoming enquiries and following up on warm leads to convert opportunities into sales.
• Building relationships with customers over the phone, email and messaging platforms.
• Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products and solutions.
• Managing an organised sales pipeline, following up on quotations and outstanding enquiries.
• Booking appointments and providing a welcoming, consultative sales experience.
• Supporting trade customers with enquiries, quotations and repeat business.
• Working closely with the marketing team to support promotions and customer engagement.
• Achieving individual and team sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.

We are keen to speak with Sales Executives who have the following skills and experience:

• Previous telephone-based sales experience within a B2B or B2C environment.
• Confident, personable and comfortable building relationships over the phone.
• A proactive, organised and persistent approach to following up leads.
• Target-driven with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Willingness to learn technical product information and go the extra mile for customers.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped commission which can be earned from day one.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, with every other Saturday on a rota basis and a day off during the week in return. There is also one late shift per week 11:30am to 8pm which is worked from home.
