Sales Consultant, Lingerie/Womenswear (1 year contract, full time)

Job Summary

As a Sales Consultant, you will provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support customers by offering guidance, product knowledge and recommendations to help them make informed purchasing decisions. You will also help ensure the department is well presented, fully stocked and operating efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and professional shopping experience.
• Assist customers in selecting purchases based on their needs and budget.
• Demonstrate product features, where appropriate, in a clear and engaging way.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge, keeping up to date with the latest product launches.
• Process sales, returns, exchanges, and customer orders accurately through the till system.
• Replenish stock, merchandise displays and ensure the department is clean, organised and visually appealing.
• Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or discrepancies.
• Support promotional events, product launches, and store campaigns.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the store to achieve department and business objectives.
• Follow all company policies, including health and safety, security, and data protection procedures.
• Assist with stock deliveries, pricing, and inventory counts as required.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing retail environment may be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using till systems.
• A positive, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
• Good attention to detail.
