The Role

We are looking for a Trade Counter / Warehouse Operative to join our Swindon branch. This varied role combines customer-facing trade counter responsibilities with warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, managing stock and being part of a busy team.

Key Responsibilities

Serving customers and processing orders at the trade counter
Handling customer enquiries and providing product advice
Picking, packing, loading and unloading goods
Maintaining accurate stock levels using warehouse systems
Assisting with goods in and goods out processes
Supporting sales growth through excellent customer service
Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Product knowledge within electrical wholesale or similar industry preferred
Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and carrying out manual handling duties

Working Hours

Week 1

Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:15pm

Week 2

Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:15pm
Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
