Cashier -- All Locations

We are hiring Cashiers across our locations. Cashiers process customer transactions quickly, accurately and courteously, and give every customer excellent service.

Schedule and location

This is a shift-based role. Shifts fall within our store hours:

• Monday-Saturday: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
• Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

You will be assigned a home store and may be scheduled at other locations based on business needs.

Essential functions

• Operate a cash register and ring customer orders efficiently and accurately
• Identify produce and meat items
• Provide customers with superior service
• Reconcile cash at the end of each shift
• Perform other duties as assigned

Other responsibilities

• Bag customer orders
• Keep the workstation and surrounding area clean
• Return misplaced products to their proper location
• Straighten and front products on shelves
• Replenish bag supplies
• Collect and return shopping carts to the correct location

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Able to perform basic math and use a calculator
• Able to understand and follow directions
• Able to stand for the full shift, reach at arm's length and bend as needed
