Forklift Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking numerous skilled Forklift Drivers to work in the Isleham near Ely location (CB7). The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to load and unload materials, as well as manage inventory within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials handling and a solid background in warehouse or goods in and out operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload goods
• Manage inventory using the warehouse management system to ensure accurate stock levels
• Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator (Counterbalance) or in a similar role within a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety regulations
• Proficient in collating information and completing the relevant paperwork
• Basic mathematical skills for accurate record keeping and inventory management
• Ability to lift heavy loads consistently throughout the shift
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Salary & Hours of Work:

• £14.17 per hour
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• #removed# - 12.5-hour shifts (paid for 11.5)
• 60 minutes break
• Overtime and extra shifts available
