Attendance Coordinator and Intervention Lead

This is a key safeguarding and pupil-support role. The Attendance Coordinator will monitor attendance and punctuality, respond to absence, carry out home visits, build constructive relationships with parents and carers, lead Early Help and multi-agency work where required and maintain accurate records. The postholder will help create a safe, structured and nurturing environment in which learners are supported to return to and remain engaged with education.

The right candidate needs to be highly organised with the ability to respond quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, supporting the vision, aims and ethos of the school. The candidate will possess an excellent telephone manner, be professional and be able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
