Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30

The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting for an Service Administrator

Our Tamworth-based client is looking for an organised, professional and customer-focused Service Administrator to join their team.

This is a key position within the business, acting as a link between customers, manufacturers, the sales team and management. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing vehicle administration and ensuring information is communicated efficiently across the dealership.

If you have excellent attention to detail, strong administrative skills and enjoy working in a busy, customer-facing environment, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

The Role

Your duties will include:

• Liaising with vehicle manufacturers to manage administrative requirements.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date stock lists, vehicle records and deal files.
• Updating customer and vehicle details on the dealership database.
• Recording and logging vehicle movements daily on the company website.
• Ensuring invoices are produced in the approved dealership format.
• Processing used vehicle funding accurately.
• Liaising with the Business Manager regarding part-exchange vehicle finance settlements.
• Responding to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Answering telephone calls, directing calls efficiently and passing on messages accurately.
• Managing outgoing correspondence and communications.
• Maintaining an organised and systematic filing system.
• Working closely with the Sales Manager, Service Managers and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Reviewing processes with the Sales Manager to identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency.

Previous experience in automotive administration, a vehicle dealership or a similar administrative role would be advantageous.

• 40 working hours per week
• Fully office-based position, with no work-from-home option
