Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

• Degree or equivalent
• Teacher status
• Experience of working in a primary school
• Knowledge of and compliance with schoolprocedures and policies, including child protection and safeguardingprotocol
• Strong and consistent behaviour managementthat aligns with the school’s Therapeutic Thinking approach
• Have experience of working closely withparents in successful home-school partnerships
• Ability to use formative and summativeassessment effectively
• A desire to make a positive contribution tothe wider life and ethos of a school
• Ability to plan and effectively resourceengaging lessons to support all learners
• Ability to adapt provided schemes to meet theneed of all learners
• Committed and motivated
• Have high expectations of all pupils,understanding their needs and using and evaluating distinctive teachingapproaches to engage and support them
• Willingness to assist and participate in thewider aspects of school life
• Child centred, warm and caring approach
• Good communication skills with both adults andchildren
