Female Part Time Personal Assistants – CWNCL

Hours:

Each PA will be required to do 1-2 shifts per week (negotiable) across the full week – on the same days each week. I currently have 3 vacancies and the shifts:
Monday-Friday daytimes 8.30am-4.30pm
Monday-Friday overnights 5.00pm-8am*
Saturday-Sunday daytimes 10.30am-6.00pm
Saturday-Sunday overnights 6.30pm-10.00am*
* staff are not expected to stay awake

Rates of pay

Daytime (7am-11pm) £14.50 per hour
Overnight (11pm-7am) £108.00 flat rate

Newcastle upon Tyne (NE2)

Personal assistants – women only – required to provide personal and domestic support for me, a disabled woman who uses a powered wheelchair.

The post is to provide support for me in my own home and when I’m out and about, including visiting friends, bars, restaurants, gigs, theatre and cinema. Main duties include providing personal care, e.g. assisting to go to the toilet, showering, stoma care and domestic tasks (e.g. cooking, washing, ironing, cleaning).

All expenses in relation to the role will be paid, except travel to and from the place of work.
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. Applicants need to be physically fit.

There is a genuine occupationalrequirementfor the holder of this post to be male/female in accordance with the Health and SocialCareAct 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 – 4.
