This is an excellent opportunity to join our manufacturing team, where you will play a key role in setting and operating machinery to deliver high-quality products in line with production targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and running a number of machines, ensuring products are manufactured to specification, quality standards, and required output levels.

Set and operate multiple machines
Achieve output levels as per site targets
Adjust machine settings including tooling, alignment, and air pressure and ensure product quality
Read and interpret product drawings accurately
Carry out all required quality inspection checks in line with feature charts and engineering drawings
Use a range of mechanical measuring and test equipment , including shadow graphs, micrometers, gauges, and Vernier calipers
Monitor machine performance during operation and identify issues such as tooling wear, misalignment, or product defects
Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the immediate work area and on assigned machines
Work independently for extended periods, using initiative and maintaining a flexible, can-do approach
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and product specifications
Experience carrying out quality inspections and using measuring equipment
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address machine or product issues
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
Flexible attitude and strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
