Nelson Recruitment Services are recruiting for our client in the West Bromwich area.

We are looking for Brake Press SETTER to work within the manufacturing shop floor.

Amada experience is ideal

Location: B70 9PL

Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday

Hours: Rotating

6am-2pm

2pm-10pm

Pay rate: £14.50ph + 22% SA (£17.69ph)

Person Specification for Brake Press Setter

Previous Experience as Brake Press Operator/Setter;
Capable of creating programs
Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
Metal Fabrication experience
Ability to follow directions and to communicate with all team members
Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
Setting and operating amada brake press
Setting and programming / changing tools / complying with health and safety

Job Description

Operation of CNC Press Brake creating varied products
Working with different types of steel
Carry out quality check on work
Ensure a clean, tidy, organised working space
Applicants should possess the ability to work efficiently
Able to work on their own initiative
Must be able to communicate at all levels, and have the ability to work as part of a team

You be required to attend a meet and greet an induction and also a short practical test on the machinery.
