Salary: £33,000-£38,000 per annum
4-day working week - Monday to Thursday
Day shifts: 7:30am-4:30pm
Overtime available at enhanced rate
The Role
As an Electrician, your responsibilities will include:
Assembling, connecting and testing electromechanical components.
Building, wiring and testing electrical control panels.
Installing electrical panels and wiring, and testing electromechanical wire-rope hoists.
Carrying out electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting when required.
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and electrical work instructions.
Ensuring all work meets the required engineering specifications, tolerances and quality standards.
What we're looking for
Time-served electrician qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. YOU MUST HAVE COPIES OF CERTS FOR THIS ROLE
Previous experience working as an electrician within a heavy manufacturing or engineering environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
Experience with three-phase electrical systems and control panels.
