Welsh-Speaking LSA

We are currently building a talent pool for ongoing opportunities across the region and are seeking to recruit a Temp Welsh-Speaking Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a valued client in the Merthyr Tydfil area. This role requires a dedicated professional who can provide dedicated learning support to students, facilitating their progress through the integration of Welsh language support within the classroom. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to ensure students with Welsh language needs receive the appropriate assistance, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant, preferably with a background in Welsh Language support
• Fluency in Welsh and English, written and spoken
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt support strategies to individual student needs
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one (SET Recruitment will cover the cost of the first DBS for any candidate not already on the update service)
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and safeguarding standards
