Moorend Place is a welcoming 53-bedroom, all en-suite care home , specialising in both nursing and residential dementia care . Location: 34 Commonside, Walkley, Sheffield S10 1GE

Salary: £12.71 Per Hour

Hours: 44 Hours/week Day Shift (includes every other weekend)

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you will support our residents in their day to day lives including providing personal care, social activities, and meals times to promote independence and maximise their quality of life.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care
• Help with mobility and transfers
• Offer companionship and a friendly presence
• Support mental and emotional well-being
• Observe and report changes in a client’s physical or emotional condition

What We’re Looking For

• Ideally have an NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care
• Must be permitted to work in the UK without certificate of sponsorship.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Care although this is not essential
• Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills
• A genuine passion for elderly care and team development
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
