We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive specialist school in BS13 that is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from 15th October .

The Role

• Lead learning activities and deliver planned interventions
• Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to promote positive outcomes
• Help create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Support behaviour management and pupil wellbeing throughout the school day

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Confidence leading learning activities and supporting small groups independently
• HLTA status or substantial experience in a higher-level support role
• A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach
