We are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated HCPC Registered Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist within the Adult Community and Learning and Disability Services. The service provides assessment and intervention for adults with communication and/or swallowing difficulties across community settings, including patient homes across North Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, with a base in Bentilee.
We are proud to be a welcoming and highly skilled multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care supported by strong clinical leadership, compassionate management, and a commitment to professional development.
This is a dynamic and innovative role delivered through a partnership between Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) and North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust (NSCHT).
You will be employed by MPFT with clinical delivery being undertaken by NSCHT providing a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced specialist colleagues within a well-established service. This unique arrangement combines the strengths of both organisations and offers excellent opportunities for professional growth, networking and collaborative working.
Applications are also welcomed from experienced Band 5 Speech and Language Therapists seeking a supported developmental pathway to Band 6.
