NHS Dumfries and Galloway Community Treatment and Vaccination Service (CTAV) is seeking forward-thinking, motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our expanding team.
Applicants must be first level Registered Nurses with relevant post-registration experience. You should be flexible, self-motivated and committed to delivering a high standard of care within an evolving service.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning and delivery of a developing Nurse-Led Treatment Room service within HUB settings across the Nithsdale, Annandale and Eskdale, and Stewartry localities.
The role will involve delivering a range of treatments, including complex wound care, catheter care and lymphoedema management. Previous experience in these areas is required.
You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and time management skills, alongside strong IT skills. The ability to work autonomously and make clinical decisions is essential.
The shift pattern will consist of four 7.5-hour shifts per week, Monday to Friday, with daytime working only.
Post holders must be willing and able to travel across all HUB settings as required.
During winter vaccination campaigns and periods of service pressure, you may also be asked to support the delivery of vaccination programmes. Full training will be provided where necessary.
PLEASE NOTE THE ATTACHED JOB DESCRIPTION IS UNDER REVIEW AND IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THERE WILL BE A VARIANCE IN DUTIES IN THE FUTURE. THIS WILL BE DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW.
