Our Radiographers are fully involved in the MDT approach to developments within department and we actively support clinical development from entry-level to Advanced Practitioner.

The department has a major commitment to evidence based practice, and participates in multi-centre clinical research trials, led by our Radiotherapy Research Team.

We are looking for highly motivated professionals with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team and help shape the future of radiotherapy at JCUH.

A new WOmed T-200 superficial unit is also due to be installed early 2027. Pre-treatment imaging consists of two Siemens wide-bore CT scanners with Prosoma software and an active brachytherapy service using Nucletron remote after-loading. We utilise Monaco and Raystation for treatment planning, with Mosaiq managing electronic data transfer throughout the department. Beyond technology, we are committed to our people.
