Pastoral & Behaviour Support - Ashford, Surrey

Secondary School | Part-Time (Wed-Fri) | Early November until Christmas Break

Horizon Teachers is looking for a confident, resilient Pastoral and Behaviour Support Assistant to join a well-regarded secondary school in Ashford, Surrey on a fixed-term basis. This is a hands-on role supporting students and staff in the run-up to Christmas, with a mix of pastoral work and general cover.

The role:

• Pastoral and behaviour support, with some general cover supervision
• Wednesday to Friday (3 days a week)
• Start: beginning of November, running until the Christmas break
• Supporting students with behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing
• Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience in a pastoral, behaviour support, or cover supervisor role in a secondary setting
• Is confident managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
• Builds positive relationships quickly with students and staff
• Is reliable, adaptable, and happy to step into cover when needed
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one)
