Night School Support Worker

Cambridge Source: WhatJobs
£8.41ph to £9.39ph

On behalf of my client we are recruiting for a NightSchoolSupport Worker within the Cambridgeshire area. My client supports children and young people age 6-19 years who have highly complex learning difficulties and is one of the few schools in the country that also supports young people with complex health needs and associated difficulties such as enteral feeding. These may be as a result of conditions such as cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, degenerative conditions or autism requiring a specialist approach.

You must have previous experience working with young adults, and ideally have NVQ/QCF - Health & Social Care or equivalent is desirable.

As a Support Worker, you’ll be helping individuals to live the lives they choose and to ‘empower them to grow’. It’s a really important role, having responsibility for supporting people’s personal, health and care needs. Because you’re with young people for most of the day (or night), you’ll be a vital part of the team that enables them to achieve their full potential.

Salary: £8.41ph to £9.39ph (linked to competency and qualifications) + a night supplement of £2,730 per year)
