At the NHS, we are reminded every day of how important life is. As a flexible working friendly organisation, we want to be sure that you can work in a way that is best for us and for our patients, and for you. Speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate a flexible working arrangement whether that’s job share, part time or another flexible pattern. In addition, although the role advertised may have a ‘home’ office base indicated, we remain committed to supporting flexibility around workplace locations. If it works for the service, we will do our best to make it work for you.
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Band 5 nurse who would like to be part of a very busy and forward thinking Outpatient Team.
The role will involve working across the whole of Outpatient and Day Services at Camborne Redruth Community Hospital (CRCH) including our Nurse Led Wound Management Clinic, the Transfusion and Infusion Service, the Phototherapy clinics and in the general Outpatient clinics as required.
Experience in IV therapy and cannulation would be an advantage.
We are a friendly, compassionate and hard working team who believe in creating a caring, welcoming and safe environment for our patients.
The 34 hours are to be worked over 4 days between 8am-5pm Mon to Sun - there is an expectation of occasional "late stays" to cover late running clinics. These are rotated in advance.
Informal visits/phone enquiries very welcome and encouraged.
