Roadside Technician

Roadside Technician - Middlesbrough

My client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to transition into roadside or a mobile / roadside technician looking for a new challenge. You need a full UK license, ideally a minimum of a NVQ Level 2 or time served with 5+ years workshop experience & you need to be confident working independently.

Salary - £37,740 Basic + Annual Bonus Up To (£4,530) + Company Van + Tools Provided + Market Leading Pension (14%) OTE £42,270.

Days- Monday - Friday, 40, hours per week, Between the hours of 7am - 8pm (Could be 9am - 5pm, 8am - 4pm etc), 4 days on, 3 days off.

Roadside Technician Role:

• Diagnosing vehicle faults and carrying out roadside repairs
• Completing tyre repairs and wheel changes
• Testing and replacing batteries
• Providing fuel assistance when required
• Explaining faults and solutions clearly to customers
• Working independently using a fully equipped patrol vehicle
• Helping customers get safely back on the road as quickly as possible

Roadside TechnicianRequirements:

• Must have a minimum of NVQ, IMI, City and Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 2 (or equivalent). If you're qualified, then you must have proof of certificate as they will be requested before offer stage
• If you're time served only then we need 5+ years workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Must hold a full UK driving licence (Max 5 points)
