Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager

Shipley, West Yorkshire

£40,000-£45,000 + Company Pension + On-Site Parking + Career Progression

Are you an Ecommerce Manager, Website Manager or Digital Marketing Manager with experience managing ecommerce websites, content and external agencies, looking to take ownership of online performance for an established business?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established organisation in a key position within a close-knit marketing team. You'll have ownership of the company's ecommerce websites and digital activity, working alongside internal teams and specialist agencies to improve customer journeys, increase conversion and drive online sales.

In this role, you'll manage the day-to-day performance and development of multiple ecommerce websites, overseeing content, online merchandising, email campaigns and digital activity. You'll coordinate external web, SEO and paid media agencies, analyse website performance and identify improvements across usability, customer experience and conversion.

This role would suit a commercially minded ecommerce or digital marketing professional with experience working within a larger organisation or marketing team. You don't need to be a specialist in every digital channel, as external agencies support areas including SEO and paid search, but you'll need strong website knowledge, confidence managing agencies and the ability to identify and resolve digital issues when required.

The Role

• Manage and develop multiple ecommerce websites.
• Coordinate web, SEO, PPC and other specialist agencies.
• Manage website content, merchandising and digital campaigns.
• Oversee email, CRM and customer communications.
• Analyse traffic, customer behaviour, conversion and online sales.
• Identify website, customer journey and CRO improvements.
• Work closely with a small internal marketing team.

The Person

• Ecommerce, website or digital marketing management experience.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce websites and customer journeys.
• Experience managing agencies and external partners.
• Comfortable managing website content and digital campaigns.
• Commercially focused with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within a larger organisation or marketing team.
• Able to work from the Shipley office five days per week.
