Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives across the company's products and managed services, including payments and group marketing services. This role involves developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies that resonate with key industry sectors and personas, as well as identifying new business opportunities through data-driven insights. The Marketing Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of marketing campaigns, lead generation efforts, and cross-company collaboration to enhance product messaging, customer engagement, and overall business growth. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and external vendors, ensuring alignment across sales, services, and product marketing initiatives. Additionally, they will manage events and sponsorships that elevate the company's market presence, while focusing on customer and marketing services retainer acquisition and retention strategies through innovative marketing practices. Strong communication skills, budgetary management, revenue creation, and a data-driven mindset are essential for success in this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1. Strategy Development and Execution
• Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Develop revenue generating GTM strategies for payments, products, managed services (PS, Marketing, Customer & Group). Develop tailored messaging and marketing services that resonate with group, industry, sector, and persona-specific pain points, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
• Collaboration with product group and cross company stakeholders to drive exceptional value propositions and market differentiation.
• Business Growth and Opportunity Identification: Leverage data from customer systems and external market insights to identify new business, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities. Work closely with product teams and retainer businesses to ensure that marketing materials accurately reflect the latest features and enhancements. Utilise organisational utopia to align with sales plans, develop campaigns for competitive marketplaces, with a focus on expanding revenue streams across products and group marketing services.
• Communication Management: Design, execute, and manage the full lifecycle of integrated brand consistent marketing campaigns, from conception to post-campaign analysis. Regularly refine both product and group services campaigns to identify the most effective channels and tactics, tracking performance against KPIs and revenue goals. Effectively communicate the organisational vision, product roadmap and lifecycle.
• 2. Lead Generation and Nurturing
• Grow the digital engine: Facilitate lead capture using automation and workflow to service the inbound methodology from downloads to Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs). Track key performance metrics on engagement levels, demographic fit, and behavioural data in preferred S&M systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot etc. for campaigns, opt-puts, bounce rate, website behaviour).
• Workflow and Automation: Execute automated nurturing campaigns to support sales and Account Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives against product and service consumption triggers which move prospects through the funnel, providing relevant content at each stage to address buyer needs and pain points. Utilise relevant AI toolsets to enhance productivity.
• 3. Cross Collaboration Sales & Services Enablement
• Design and develop tools such as pitch decks, newsletters, documentation and website & CRM automation to equip sales teams. Regularly meet with internal customers to refine activities based on feedback from the field. Generate a portfolio of evidence based case studies and thought leadership content.
• Cloud & Product Alignment: Work closely with subject matter experts & specialist stakeholders to understand relevant product and technology stack nuances to ensure that S&M assets accurately reflect the latest features and roadmap for use in a variety of marketing and sales engagements.
• 4. Events, Partnerships and Hospitality
• Manage participation in industry events and tradeshows, sponsorships including exhibition presence, pre-event promotion, and post-event lead follow-up. Use creative concepts such as securing speaker slots, panel discussions, or product demos. Align with strategic partners and/or hospitality providers to co-host events which amplify net new customer reach and facilitate retention and growth in the customer base.
• Partner & Vendor Relationships: Support Marketplace objectives and growth with co-partner marketing initiatives. Build and maintain positive relationships with external vendors for services such as graphic design, digital advertising, and public relations. Ensure contracts align with project goals and budgets.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Excellent written skills and a keen eye for grammar
• Adept at translating complex product information into digestible customer language across various mediums
• A deep passion for clear, concise communications
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
• Competence with Salesforce and HubSpot (advantage)
• Proficiency in documentation publishing, e.g., Confluence, Jira
• Competence with Microsoft Office
• A background in engineering or computer science (preferred)
• Experience in Professional Writing or Creative Writing (a plus)
• A flair for creative design and knowledge of video editing tools (advantage)
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, paired with a curious mindset.
