About You
You’ll be an experienced Quality Manager with an engineering or manufacturing background
You’ll have a recognised engineering qualification
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, including internal and external audits
Experience leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
Knowledge of inspection and testing methods, including NDT techniques
You’ll be comfortable with occasional overseas travel over the course of the year
About the Job
Lead and maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
Manage internal, external and customer audits
Lead and develop the Quality team
Drive quality improvements using data, RCA and Lean methodologies
Manage supplier quality, audits and Supplier Performance Management
Oversee inspection, testing, calibration and quality documentation
Investigate customer complaints and implement effective corrective actions
Monitor and report quality KPIs to senior management
Support the development of an Integrated Management System incorporating ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Work closely with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and other departments to improve quality across the business
Lead continuous improvement projects using tools such as PFMEA, MSA and DFM
Manage departmental budgets and quality priorities to support production
