The Trading Analyst Program offers driven students hands‑on exposure to the practice through strategic projects aligned to trade support, transaction processing, operational controls, client servicing and process improvement. In a fast‑paced environment, analysts will gain insight into trading workflows and the trade lifecycle, support reporting, analysis and issue resolution, and build an understanding of market structure, risk management and the importance of accuracy, controls and cross‑functional partnership.

What You Will Do

• Monitor trade activity and help review pricing, liquidity, and execution details in a fast‑moving environment.
• Support reconciliations, reporting, and control processes that help maintain accuracy and operational integrity.
• Use data and tools to identify trends, investigate exceptions, and support performance analysis.
• Gain exposure to how markets, trading workflows, and risk controls connect across teams and systems.

Analyst Program

Our 24‑month rotational Analyst Program is designed to set you up for success from day one. Program eligibility:

• Enrollment in a 4‑year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business‑related and/or technology‑related majors preferred
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027 (U.S.)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the countrywhere applying.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $95,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long‑term incentive packages, and company‑ sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at‑will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team.
