Costs Lawyer, Litigation Costs and Funding

A leading international law firm with a large network of UK offices and a wide mix of corporate, public sector and financial services clients.

The role

You will join a litigation costs team of solicitors and qualified costs lawyers.

• Recover and reduce costs on litigated matters
• Prepare and serve bills of costs, and negotiate and settle costs claims
• Prepare Precedent H budgets, Points of Dispute and Replies
• Prepare hearing bundles and instructions to counsel
• Work with fee earners, partners and clients, and help promote the team

What you will need

• Qualified costs lawyer, or qualified through experience with at least 4 years in litigation
• A real interest in costs disputes and budgeting
• Able to run your own caseload
• Good communication with a wide range of people
