Solicitor - Motor

We are working with a leading law firm based in Belfast for a Solicitor to join their Motor team. Salary from £50,000 - £64,000.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an established Insurance Defence team in Belfast, advising leading insurers and their policyholders on a varied caseload of litigated motor injury and credit hire claims.

The role will involve managing County Court litigation from instruction through to resolution, including investigating claims, interviewing witnesses, drafting statements and pleadings, and liaising with insurers and insureds. The successful candidate will also instruct counsel, attend conferences and mediations, negotiate settlements and represent clients at court hearings and trials.

• 2+ years’ PQE
• Strong experience in defence insurance;
• Strong academic background;
• Technically excellent;
• Team player;
• Excellent salary package from £50,000- £64,000 (commensurate with experience);
