Role: Family Solicitor
Location: Bristol, Manchester, Sheffield, Stratford Upon Avon,
Salary: £34,000 - £48,000
Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid (1 office day per week)

CRA Consulting is working alongside an established national legal services provider to recruit a Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive at NQ-3 years' PQE to join its expanding Family Law team.

With offices across Sheffield, Manchester, Bristol and Stratford-upon-Avon, the role offers a genuinely flexible hybrid setup, with just two days per week required in the office.

You’ll be joining a well-established team with a strong focus on privately funded family work, supported by an experienced wider legal function and modern systems and infrastructure.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a junior family lawyer looking to build on their existing experience while taking ownership of their own caseload.

Your work will primarily involve privately funded matters across areas such as:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial remedy
• Private children matters
• Negotiations and settlements
• Preparation of legal documentation and correspondence

You’ll manage matters from initial instruction through to conclusion, providing clear and practical advice throughout. There will also be the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business and, as you develop, potentially support more junior members of the team.

About You

The role would suit a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with up to 3 years' PQE who already has some experience handling privately funded family matters.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience managing your own family law caseload
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Confidence using case management systems and modern legal technology
• A genuine interest in developing your family law career
