Land Rights and Consents Specialist

An exciting opportunity is available for a Lands Rights and Consents Specialist to join our team based in Swansea.

In this role, you will negotiate specialist consents, wayleaves, easements and land agreements relating to our electricity distribution network, while supporting the resolution of complex land and damage claims. You will also provide guidance and training to colleagues on estates and survey-related matters, helping to develop expertise across the team.

As part of our hybrid working approach this role offers a mix of office and home working. Hybrid working can be considered once initial training has been completed, typically within 6-12 months and subject to business requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Negotiate specialist consents, wayleaves, easements and agreements in respect of the location of distribution assets
• Managing and settling damage claims
• Assessing the potential impact of a specific work activity on customers and advising customers affected of the impact of activities
• Resolving customer enquiries and complaints`
• Investigating and reporting on estate related matters
