We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established residential care home in York.
This is a key leadership appointment for a manager who combines strong operational control with a genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
The role.
Lead the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring safe, effective and dignified care.
Maintain CQC compliance, safeguarding standards and robust governance.
Lead, develop and retain a high-performing care team.
Manage occupancy, referrals, assessments and admissions.
Build trusted relationships with residents, families, professionals and commissioners.
Deliver against budget, staffing and operational targets.
Use audits, action plans and performance data to drive continual improvement.
About you.
Proven Registered Manager experience within elderly residential, nursing or dementia care.
Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding.
Experience managing occupancy, team performance and home finances.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or working towards it.
A visible, organised and commercially aware leader with high standards.
