Material Analyst / Administrator

This Material Analyst / Administrator role in Aston supports a high-volume automotive supply chain operation. Working full time on a temporary basis, the postholder rotates weekly between 06:00–13:30 and 13:30–21:00 shifts, earning £15.16 hourly plus premium overtime. Duties centre on inventory control, stock management and logistics administration, requiring strong Excel proficiency and ideally SAP familiarity, though training is available for those keen to learn new platforms. The successful candidate will maintain accurate records, process warehouse documentation and assist with systems administration. Applicants should demonstrate organisation, attention to detail and confidence handling figures within a busy production setting.

Are you an experienced Warehouse Administrator with strong Excel skills and a background in inventory control, stock management or logistics administration? We are currently recruiting for an organised and motivated Automotive Warehouse Administrator to join a busy, high-volume automotive operation in Birmingham B6 . Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate stock and inventory records
• Using Excel to manage, analyse and update warehouse data
• Updating and processing information through SAP and other internal systems
• Monitoring stock movements, discrepancies and inventory levels
• Supporting stock checks and inventory control processes
• Investigating discrepancies and ensuring system records match physical stock
• Producing reports and maintaining accurate warehouse documentation
• Working closely with warehouse, production and logistics teams
• Ensuring information is processed accurately and within required timescales
• Supporting continuous improvement across warehouse administration and processes

What We’re Looking For

• Good Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and data
• Previous experience in inventory control, stock control or warehouse administration
• SAP knowledge or experience – highly desirable, but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
• Good IT and data-entry skills
• The ability to identify and investigate stock discrepancies
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A willingness to learn, adapt and develop new skills
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced automotive/warehouse environment
