At GXO we are currently recruiting a Transport Administrator to join our team in Bridgwater with our customer EDF .

This is a full-time role on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract working Monday to Friday , 8 hours per day between 07:00 and 17:00, therefore some flexibility is needed.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Booking, cancelling and amending delivery slots on the HPC Delivery Management System
• Maintaining accurate records on the delivery schedule and for our sitesincluding production of specific reports for the management team
• Attend Daily meeting/calls with site DMS and logistic teams
• Deliver first class communication to internal and external stake holders, including our drivers, operators and customers
• Support transport planning process in the absence of the Transport Planner

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A hands‑on approach and to be able to accept and deliver change where necessary
• People and customer focused, with the ability to engage at all levels both internally and externally
• Works to a high standard of detail meeting deadlines, with a good ability to prioritise
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems, Power BI and Manhattan is desirable
• Experience of working within a logistics environment is desirable
