The Mill Practice is a busy GP practice serving patients across Dundee. We are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and are looking for an experienced and motivated Reception & Administration Supervisor to lead our reception and administrative team.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced team leader or supervisor to play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the practice.

You will provide leadership and support to our reception and administration team, ensuring patients receive a professional, efficient and welcoming service. You will oversee staff rotas, workflow management, training, performance support and service improvements, while acting as a key point of contact for patient enquiries and operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support reception and administrative staff.
• Manage staff rotas, annual leave and sickness cover.
• Ensure effective appointment booking and patient access processes.
• Monitor reception and administrative workflows.
• Support staff recruitment, induction and training.
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality and information governance.

About You

We are looking for someone who has previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a healthcare, GP practice or customer service environment. You must be organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can motivate and support staff to deliver excellent patient care.
