Poultry Farm Operative – Service Team

Location: Dereham, Norfolk

Salary: Circa £32,000 per year

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required

ISQ Recruitment are supporting an established poultry business in the Dereham area with the recruitment of a Poultry Farm Operative to join their Service Team. If you enjoy practical, hands-on work and don't want to be based at the same site every day, this could be a great opportunity. You'll work as part of a team travelling to poultry farms across the region, helping with everything from preparing and washing poultry sheds to bird handling and vaccination work.

Previous poultry experience is helpful but not essential. Full training can be provided. We're more interested in finding someone reliable, hardworking and comfortable with a physical role.

What you'll be doing

• Travelling with the team to different poultry farms
• Cleaning, washing and preparing poultry sheds
• Mucking out and general farm duties
• Handling poultry safely and confidently
• Assisting with vaccination and other bird service work
• Following animal welfare, hygiene and biosecurity procedures

What we're looking for

• Full UK driving licence – essential
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
• Happy working around poultry and livestock
• Willing to travel to different farm sites
• Flexible with early starts and varying finish times
• Able to work well as part of a team
