KS1 Teaching Assistant

Hounslow Primary School Full-Time ASAP Start 07:50-15:50 Competitive Pay

We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hounslow , with an ASAP start available.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children in KS1 and a strong understanding of the Little Wandle phonics programme . You will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils with their learning, development and engagement throughout the school day.

The Role

• Supporting pupils across KS1 with their learning and development
• Supporting and delivering Little Wandle phonics sessions
• Helping children develop their early reading, writing and phonics skills
• Providing support during whole-class, group and independent activities
• Encouraging children's confidence, independence and positive behaviour
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team
• Creating a positive, nurturing and engaging classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic , with a genuine passion for working with young children.

Essential:

• Previous experience working within a primary/KS1 setting
• Good knowledge of Little Wandle phonics
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and proactive approach

Hours: 07:50-15:50, Monday to Friday
Start: ASAP
Location: Hounslow
