Shifts: 8AM - 8.30PM / 8PM - 8.30AM (Mon-Sun) Days, Nights & Weekend rotation. Flexibility required.

Salary: Competitive (DOE) + shift allowance

We're looking for a compassionate and driven Healthcare Assistant to join our Cardiology Ward at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated 'Good' by the CQC and the largest private hospital in the UK.

Our 20-bed specialist unit cares for a broad and complex case mix, with the majority of patients admitted for Cardiac Surgery and Cardiology , alongside Hepatobiliary surgical cases and a smaller cohort of Neurosurgical and other specialist medical/surgical patients.

As part of one of the UK's most advanced private cardiac services, you'll be joining a team that delivers high-quality, evidence-based care to patients undergoing major cardiac and surgical interventions. You'll work closely with nurses, cardiologists, surgeons, and the wider multidisciplinary team to support patients throughout their recovery and ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the nursing team, assisting with day-to-day patient care, and helping to maintain the high standards of care that HCA UK is known for.

• Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant within a hospital or acute care setting is essential
• A caring, compassionate, and patient-centred approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
