SELF-EMPLOYED SALES EXECUTIVE

We are looking for an experienced and driven Self-Employed Sales Executive to join an established and growing business within the window and door industry.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in fenestration sales who understands the window and door market and has the confidence to develop new business, build strong customer relationships and generate sales.

THE ROLE

As a Self-Employed Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business and growing sales across your area. You will manage your own workload, identify new opportunities and build long-term relationships with customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the window and door industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Generate new sales through networking, referrals, cold calling and business development.
• Visit potential and existing customers to understand their requirements and promote products and services.
• Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to securing the order.
• Follow up quotations and enquiries to maximise sales opportunities.
• Develop a strong understanding of the product range and identify suitable solutions for customers.
• Maintain regular communication with customers and provide a professional level of service.
• Work towards agreed sales and business development objectives.
• Keep up to date with market trends, competitors and opportunities within the fenestration sector.
• Work closely with the internal team to ensure orders are progressed efficiently and customers receive a smooth service.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience within the fenestration/window and door industry and a good understanding of the products, customers and market.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in window and door sales or a closely related fenestration role.
• Confident approaching and winning new business.
• A strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
• Commercially aware and motivated by earning potential.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Organised with good follow‑up and customer management skills.
• Confident meeting customers face‑to‑face and discussing their requirements.
• Target‑driven with a genuine desire to grow sales.
• Well connected within the fenestration industry would be advantageous.
• Comfortable working on a self‑employed basis.
