Role: Fabrication & Welding Assessor

Location: Lancashire

Rate: £35-£45 per hour

Contract: Full-time, Temporary - approximately 5 weeks

We are currently seeking an experienced Fabrication & Welding Assessor to join a leading further education college on a full-time temporary basis in Lancashire for approximately 5 weeks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners within fabrication and welding, ensuring they meet the required industry and qualification standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess learners in fabrication and welding
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support learner development
• Ensure assessments are completed accurately and in line with awarding-body requirements
• Maintain appropriate assessment records and documentation
• Support learners in achieving their qualifications and practical competencies

The Ideal Candidate:

• Relevant industry experience in fabrication and welding
• Experience as an assessor within an educational or training environment
• Relevant assessing qualifications
• Strong knowledge of fabrication and welding practices
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to commit to the full 5-week assignment
