Operations Manager - Christ Church, Southwark

Christchurch Southwark is a Church of England church in central London. We are looking for an Operations Manager who will help us to respond to the needs of today and anticipate the needs of tomorrow.

We have a small but faithful congregation of worshippers; motivated by our faith, we have developed a particular ministry to people who are or have been homeless. For much of this we partner with St Mungo’s, which currently runs projects from our hall on three days of the week.

You will be working closely with the Rector as part of a small team and alongside several key volunteers. Together, we will articulate a vision for the future of Christchurch, and you will bring energy and strategic insight to help us realise it.

Flexible working is an option, with 1-3 days a week needed on site, depending on tasks/meetings/workload etc. You will also be provided with your own office space.

The successful applicant also has the possibility to become the Parish Clerk and thus a member of the Worshipful Company of Clerks.
