Description
Manage audits from planning through to finalisation.
Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant standards.
Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and address queries.
Supervise junior team members and provide guidance where needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations during audits.
Identify potential risks and suggest appropriate recommendations.
Communicate findings clearly to both clients and internal teams.
Keep up-to-date with changes in auditing and accounting standards.
Profile
A successful Audit Senior should have:
A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
Strong technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards.
Experience managing audits across various sectors.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Confidence in working directly with clients and leading teams.
