Job description

A well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Sheffield is looking to appoint an Audit Senior to join its growing team. You will work with a varied portfolio of clients, gaining exposure to a broad range of businesses while taking responsibility for delivering high-quality audit work. The role offers plenty of client contact and the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge, commercial awareness and leadership skills.

  • Identifying and resolving audit issues, escalating where appropriate
  • Develop long term relationships with clients and acting as a key point of contact
  • Supporting and reviewing the work of more junior members of the team
  • Assisting with accounts preparation and other general practice work where required
  • Working closely with managers and partners to ensure assignments are delivered efficiently and to a high standard

Who you are:

  • Someone with previous experience within an accountancy practice
  • ACA or ACCA qualified or nearly qualified candidate
  • Someone confident dealing with clients and keen to develop their responsibilities
  • An ambitious and commercially minded individual who wants to progress their career within practice

Benefits:

  • Clear progression opportunities
  • Study support (if applicable)
  • Exposure to a varied and interesting client portfolio
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Pension contribution
  • 25 days annual leave and bank holidays

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
