Supply Chain Coordinator

Are you a Supply Chain Coordinator /Admin? Do you have experience working within a manufacturing environment? If so, our client, a leading manufacturer, is recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator at their site in Derby.

The role will involve assisting with procurement activities and supplier relationships , ensuring materials are available on time and supporting cost, quality and delivery objectives across the business.

Mon-Thus 8:00 - 4:45 / Fri 8-12:30

Salary dependent on experience

Job Description:

• Assisting with procurement activities, ensuring materials and components are ordered and delivered on time.
• Monitor supplier orders and delivery performance, taking action to expedite materials where required.
• Work closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Customer Service and other internal teams to resolve supply issues and improve performance.
• Support the development and improvement of MRP, procurement processes, stock control and supply forecasting.
• Build effective supplier relationships

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Previous experience within a supply chain related role or administrative position
• Experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with MRP systems and/or Excel
