Production Operative

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of our client based in Witham. This is an ongoing opportunity within a busy production environment, with full-time Monday to Friday shifts available.

The successful candidates will work alongside machine operators to support the smooth running of the production process, ensuring materials are supplied to machinery and finished products are checked, packed and prepared for dispatch.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Working alongside machine operators to support daily production activities.
• Loading machine hoppers with the required materials.
• Carrying out quality control checks on finished products.
• Identifying and reporting any defective or damaged items.
• Packing finished products ready for dispatch.
• Boxing and labelling completed items where required.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area.
• Following site health and safety procedures.

Experience

• Previous production or manufacturing experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Good attention to detail when checking product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Hours

Monday to Friday, with the following shifts available:

• 6:00am - 3:00pm
• 3:00pm - 12:00am (midnight)

Location

Witham, Essex.
