What You’ll Be Doing

During your Year in Industry, you’ll be:

• Supporting manufacturing and production teams on live projects
• Analyse processes and identity improvement opportunities
• Assist with quality, safety or efficiency initiatives
• Collaborate with teams across the site
• Present your work at the end of the programme
• This is a hands-on role – you’ll be out on the shop floor, not just behind a desk.

What We Are Looking For

You’ll be :

• Studying a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Food Science , or a related discipline.
• In your penultimate or final year of study.
• Curious about how things are made and passionate about operations.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, practical environment .
• A strong communicator who thrives in a team setting.
• No previous industrial experience required – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

Programme Details

• Start date: August 2027
• Duration- 12 months
• Locations- Wakefield, Sidcup, Edmonton, East Kilbride
• Assessment Centre- December 2026, January 2027 (at site, location tbc)
