Electrician – Kingston

Van & Fuel Card 40 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to join a busy social housing maintenance contract covering Kingston and the surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrician looking for a long-term role within a well-established maintenance team, carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance across occupied and void residential properties.

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical maintenance and repair works within social housing properties.

Your duties will include:

Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and fault finding
Completing electrical installation and repair works within occupied properties
Working across kitchens, bathrooms and general residential areas
Carrying out testing and inspection where required
Diagnosing electrical faults and completing remedial works
Working to relevant electrical and health & safety regulations
Completing job sheets and updating relevant systems
Providing a professional service to residents and customers
Working closely with the wider maintenance team

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working as an Electrician
Experience within social housing, housing maintenance or domestic maintenance is highly desirable
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Good knowledge of electrical regulations and safe working practices
A full UK driving licence
Excellent communication and customer service skills
The ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
